After meeting with other poets at 'Tongues in the City' in London, Countess Sigrid von Galen started also to learn Romanes and write poetry in this oral language, about mysticism, the human suffering of the Roma and many other ethnic minorities as a way to make human rights and the cost of suffering due to being a member of a minority visible and audible. Poetry and stories bring history to life and help us adjust to the future.
